Our agency provides services to more than 60,000 people who come through our doors or calls on the telephone in need of services. We are here to help those in need whether they are homeless, unemployed, underemployed, hungry, or a working mother with no child care. As an agency, we do our best to assist those in need. If we cannot help, we do our best to refer them to an agency who can. Your tax deductible contribution can help us feed a family, restore someone’s electricity, purchase supplies for our soup kitchen, or even purchase a pair of work boots. Founded in 1996 to serve the residents of Newark, since 2001, it has expanded its reach to serve those in Essex Counties and those throughout the State of New Jersey.
